In Lisbon, in Parque das Nações at Loja Ponto JA, the first Citizen’s Store opened with a format and language dedicated to young people. The objective is to centralize all necessary services in a single counter. A similar store is planned to open in Braga.

The Young Citizen Shop focuses on at least six services: adhering to the Mobile Digital Key, renewing or changing the address on the Citizen Card, revalidating the Driver’s License, paying the IMI, consulting and accessing the Land Registry or the Criminal Registry. This initiative aims to undo the reality that public services involve a lot of bureaucracy.

The Shop is open from 10am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 5pm.

The “Ponto JA” network is dedicated entirely to young people, its units are located in the services of the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth), in youth associations and municipalities. In addition, there is a youth line and a website with simplified information for young people.
