There are days that call for good company and a sweetie, especially after a presentation of a work or after a test. Therefore, we bring you a suggestion capable of pleasing from the most basic friends, to those who always eat the strangest mixtures: The Maria Croissant.

In Lisbon or Oeiras, just like we were in Paris, the Maria Croissant has croissants to suit all tastes: from sweet to savory and from the traditional to the boldest. Have we already made your mouth water? The best part is yet to come: a display case full of warm croissants, made every hour. Sounds like paradise, that’s right.

Whether you crave them for breakfast, snack or even dessert, the hard part will be choosing the filling for your croissant. There are plenty of options and, for those who can’t say no to a sweet, there are more than a few: chocolate, apple and cinnamon, berries, pineapple, kinder bueno, twix, oreo, ferrero rocher, cheesecake, raffaello, bounty or even salted caramel.

What about having a croissant for lunch? Yes, it is possible, especially if you choose one of Maria Croissant’s savory fillings with combinations such as: fresh cheese and tomato, tuna, chicken, ham and cream cheese or even salmon.

In Praça de Londres, in Lisbon, the shop is open from 8am to 8pm and the croissants cost between €1.60 and €3.90. If you don’t want to go to the store, you can order from UberEats, Glovo, TakeAway or Bolt Food.
