The festival at Alfândega do Porto is back, from 26 to 28 May, after several cancellations due to the effects of the pandemic in the country.

In addition to the space, the identity of Porto is marked in the event, with the partnership of the festival with “Jornal de Notícias”, the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ornatos Violeta, on the first day of the festival, the participation of Capicua and GNR. Other confirmations are Tricky and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

After Ornatos Violeta’s short return in 2019 to the stage, you can sing and dance the band’s epic songs again, from “I Heard It Said”, to “Captain Romance” or “Bad Day”, which certainly won’t be on May 26, when they celebrate their 30-year career on the stage of Alfândega do Porto. 

The first day will be marked by Portuguese music, with the presence of Linda Martini, Zen, Paus, Paraguaii, Pedro da Linha, and Riot.

May 27th will be marked by the performance of Tricky, Domingues, T-Rex, Cassete Pirata. As well as Capicua, who is recognized for her passion for the city. This day also features Throes+The Shine, who was present at the showcase on JN, which you can review on social media.

And listening to “Just Like Honey”, or “April Skies” at the Customs House in Porto, will also be possible with headliners: The Jesus and Mary Chain. on the last day, May 28. Besides the presence of The Waterboys, GNR, David Fonseca, Keep Razors Sharp, and also Moullinex & Xinobi and DJ Vibe.

The festival will have four stages: the main stage, the sunset stage, clubbing, and concerts on the boats. The organization mentions that there are still more surprises to be revealed, so make sure you secure your ticket in the usual places.
