“O Sol da Caparica” is back to Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica and, this year, with one more day of festival.

The “O Sol da Caparica” festival is back for its 7th edition, after not being able to take place in 2021, thanks to the worsening of the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

The event returns to Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica on August 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, and this edition will have one more day of music and entertainment than previous editions.

The aim of O Sol da Caparica is, through the production by the Chiado Group, in partnership with the City Council of Almada, to continue to promote the region, as well as to promote the music of the Portuguese-speaking countries, not forgetting the experience and entertainment of those who pass through the festival grounds.

Thus, in addition to having one more day of festival, the 2022 edition will also have a new electronic tent where there will be sets from the best known national DJ’s and will also have the return of the Graffiti Zone and the Gaming Zone. The restaurant area will be extended along the venue’s green space and the Zen Zone will have a differentiated lounge.

For this 7th edition of O Sol da Caparica, the main stage will be kept, as well as the secondary stage. There will also be a comedy and dance stage and an extreme sports park. However, the artists who will perform in the 2022 edition are not yet known.

Tickets are already on sale at the online ticket office Blue Ticket MEO, with the daily ticket costing 22€ and the pass for the five days of the festival ranging between 75€ and 115€, the only difference being whether or not the entrance to the electronic tent is included.
