Being a student is more than just going to academic parties and getting headaches during exam season. It also means you can get a discount when you visit some museums and monuments. Since we don’t want you to miss anything, we leave you a list of them.


Saint George Castle

The oldest and one of the most emblematic monuments of the city opens its doors for only 5€. At the top of the hill, you will be able to stroll through the Lisbon castle that receives thousands of tourists every day, curious about the history of this city.


Carmo Archaeological Museum

You can enter in the first museum of art and archeology in Portugal for 4€.


National Museum of Ancient Art

In this museum with over 40,000 pieces and housing the most important public collection of ancient art in the country, the student ticket costs only 3€ and is well worth it.


Padrão dos Descobrimentos

In this monument erected as a way to honor the portuguese historical figures of the time of the discoveries, you can not only visit a small museum inside, with unique pieces and a lot of history, but also climb to the top and have an incomparable view over the city of Lisbon. All this for 2€.


Berardo Museum

The museum where you can visit several temporary collections and also a permanent exhibition of modern and contemporary art. It is open to students with tickets for 2,50€.


Lisbon Oceanarium

An obligatory stop on a visit to Parque das Nações, which offers students a 10% discount on their ticket, at €12.60.


Aljube Museum

And as we like to leave the best for last, we bring you the Museu do Aljube, where for all students the ticket is free.
