It’s planned for September 2022, at Parque da Bela Vista, and promises “a new real, physical and unique experience”. The first names on the line-up have already been announced and the band Arctic Monkeys is already guaranteed. But the news doesn’t stop there.

Called Kalorama, it is scheduled for 1st, 2nd and 3rd September 2022 and has already announced some of the artists who will take to the stage at Parque da Bela Vista, in Lisbon. Arctic Monkeys, Kraftwerk and the Chemical Brothers are some of those confirmed, alongside the portuguese band Ornatos Violeta.

It presents itself as a “music, art and sustainability festival” and promises “a new real, physical and unique experience”. Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, it wants to set “a new standard for festivals”, informs “Jornal de Notícias”.

You won’t be surprised by the location, as the venue is in Parque da Bela Vista, the same one that has hosted Rock In Rio since its first edition in 2004. However, between 1st and 3rd September, it will host a new festival, Kalorama, which will debut on portuguese soil in 2022.

Apart from the Arctic Monkeys, you can also count on Kraftwerk, Chemical Brothers, Ornatos Violeta, Chet Faker, Moderat, Blossoms, Peaches and The Lathums.

Tickets for the new festival are already available and you can buy them through the official website of the festival. The general pass (for 3 days of the festival) costs 120€.
